Cheap Single Pushchairs
The Babyzen Yoyo stroller is a good option if you are on a budget and don't need an extra stroller that can be used as a car seat carrier. It has a simple one-step foot brake that's flip-flop user-friendly.
It's simple to push, and it feels solid when you are navigating kerbs and woodland paths. It's also easy to fold.
1. Babyzen YOYO2
The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned a reputation as the most lightweight stroller, both for city dwellers as well jet-setters. This is due to its extremely nimble handling and fold that fits into the overhead baggage of an aircraft. This latest version boasts independent suspension on all four wheels that is made of Hytrel elastomer that allows it to perfectly navigate through all kinds of surfaces and terrain'.
The frame's base YOYO2 frame along with the curved fabric bassinet and the 6+ month color pack create a stylish pushchair that's easy to look at, with a subtle but elegant aesthetic and tasteful branding. The frame's weight is less than a kilogram, and is so light that you can lift it out of the box with one hand.
The hood, for example, snaps on the YOYO2 in a reassuring way. It's also machine washable at 30 degrees, which helps to prevent the stains that result from smushed carrot puffs and rice cakes. It can be used as a pram starting from birth with the Newborn Pack or bassinet, or converted to stroller at 6 months old by clicking on the YOYO Connect additional chassis.
2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore
The Evenflo Pivot Xplore is a fantastic choice for parents who want a versatile stroller wagon. The Evenflo Pivot Xplore can be converted from a stroller into an actual wagon by flipping the handle. Parents can then decide the best mode for their adventure. The wagon can hold one or two kids from 6 months up to 5 years old, and it comes with a spacious storage basket that can accommodate everything you require on the go.
The Xplore also features dual canopies that move from the front to the back, offering ample sun protection for all family members. It has a smaller footprint than some wagons. This may not be suitable for long trips or naps.
The frame of the Xplore wagon feels solid and sturdy but it does not flex as much as other wagons we have tried. It is also more difficult to fold than some of the competitors and does not secure when folded. It is easy to maneuver, though, and it is able to fit through narrow 28 inches doors.
3. Delta Children LX Side by Side
This bare-bones double stroller from Delta Children is an excellent option for parents seeking an affordable second stroller for their travels. It scored well in our Strollers & Multiples Test for weight and folded dimensions, meaning it is lightweight, compact when folded, and easy to carry and put in a trunk of a car. It also comes with a reclined seat that can be reclined in several positions as well as cup holders for the parent. Other important features include two large hanging storage bags and 360-degree front wheels that absorb shock.
In single push chair of the push and turn, it did better than many of the other strollers of a similar price we tested, but it's still not the easiest to maneuver on uneven terrain or through doorways that are narrow. The sunshades are among the smallest we tested, offering only direct overhead coverage and no peekaboo windows. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 has a significantly larger canopy.
It took us just under three minutes to put together the Delta with a manual. All of the components required tools. However, it is missing certain essential features that we believe it is important to consider as non-negotiable features in a double stroller, such as an extra-large basket, and reclining seats with adjustable leg rests.
4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1
The Zelia is Maxi-Cosi's latest pushchair and is marketed as a travel system for urban use. It can be used from birth to around 3.5-years-old. The seat and carrycot can be converted easily with a few clicks. It is compatible with Maxi Cosi capsule car seats. It includes a light Mico 30 infant seat, a stay-in car-base and reversible carriage.
The seat can be reclined with one hand, and the big shopping basket makes it easy for parents to help their child in and out. Despite being a narrow pushchair it handled the everyday bumps with ease and slid through doors without fuss.
The front wheels are able to be locked in a forward-facing position and can also pivot. This is helpful for navigating through rough terrain. We allowed the front wheels to rotate on our walk along the stony path. It handled this reasonably well, though it did seem a little bumpier.
5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2,
Baby Jogger is known for their 3-wheeler, all-terrain Jogging pushchairs, however they also make a good selection of 4-wheel strollers. City Tour 2 is their most popular model. It is easy to fold and can fit into the trunk of a car even with the carrycot attached.
It's a bit heavier than other strollers that we test, but the wheels are rubber composite, which makes it feel well-built and sturdy. It is easy to maneuver on different terrains and even with two children as well as a shopping bag and other items.
Both the seat and the carrycot come with hoods that can be removed to reveal the UV50and sun canopy extensions. They are waterproof and strong, unlike some other prams' hoods which are bounced back into toddlers faces.
It doesn't have a lot of storage space, however it does come with a huge basket that's large enough to fit a changing bag as well as plenty of groceries. It can also be used with the Baby Jogger car seat for infants that weigh up to 20 pounds (car seat and adapters are available separately). If you need a stroller that is able to be taken on the road, then the City Tour 2 is an excellent choice.
6. Nuna Mixx Next
Nuna Mixx was a stroller that won the hearts of a large number of parents when it first came out. It's an aluminium framed stroller that will see you through your baby's first years and beyond. It is a standout model with many unique features, such as the ability of the seat to flip between the front facing parent and the outside, a large UPF50+ canopy with an eye shade that flips out, and an adjustable handlebar.

The wheels are tough and filled with foam which minimizes punctures. The chassis also has built-in suspension that eases the pain of rough terrain. Our tester found it smooth to push and was able to manoeuvre it through tight streets with ease.
It folds down in four easy steps and automatically locks without fuss. It can also be rolled and stood up for easier transportation down the stairs or in the boot of the car. It also comes ready with the option to include a car seat or carrycot using the adaptors that come with it. The brakes are simple to use using a single action colored and flip-flop-friendly.
7. Babyzen Duet
This budget single pushchair is surprisingly easy to maneuver and has excellent dual suspension, a one-hand fold, and a handy carry strap. It's also super lightweight and robust. The seat can be reclined to many different positions. It also has a double-breathable mattress that is suitable for babies.
The canopy/seat has two large sun visors that can be fixed or removed. Both are UPF50+. The toggle closure isn't the best as it’s not as quiet as Velcro, and can awaken napping babies.
The Duet is an angled stroller that can accommodate twins or siblings. (Up to 22kg per seat). It can be used with two infant car seat and some carrycots. In twin mode, the seats can face each other or can turn around and face the parents, theoretically reducing sibling disputes over who gets to sit with mom and dad. It comes with a huge gear tray as well as a bottle holder and snack tray. It also comes with an automatic frame lock as well as a compact fold.
8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2
The Thule Urban glide 2 is the ideal jogger for parents who love to be active. It's one of the lightest strollers you can purchase for your child. It comes with excellent safety features such as five-point harnesses and a secure wrist strap. It has a different type of hand brake unlike other models that are a twist.
The seat is comfortable and offers a large area to sit in, but the depth of the seat is less than other joggers that we've tested (it's approximately 10"). The storage bin has an open-top cover that can be closed to keep items secure. It can hold up to 10 lbs. This is enough for most diaper bags.
The Urban Glide 2 isn't compatible with infant car seats or bassinets as of yet, but you can use it from day one with the purchase of adapters for the majority of seats made by brands such as BOB, Graco, Combi, Evenflo, Britax, and UPPAbaby. It folds compactly and takes between 5 and 10 minutes to assemble with no tools. The manual is easy to understand and includes multiple languages.
